These heatproof measuring cups are created by a respected Japanese company, founded in 1921, as a provider of glassware for laboratory and industrial use. That same quality and durable glassware is now translated to everyday kitchen use, as these measuring cups accurately portion out wet or dry ingredients in cups, milliliters and grams.
Hand wash is recommended, but the item is suitable for the dishwasher as well.
Hario was founded in 1921 to provide glassware to laboratories. In the 1940s, founder Hiromu Yasuhiro believed that the company's heatproof glass would work well for the growing coffee and café industry in Japan, and he was right. Today, Hario remains one of the most respected producers of laboratory and coffee products, as the company is run by the original founder’s son, Sibata Yasuhiro.
