Clearly label your seedlings using these natural birch wood markers so that you don’t accidentally sow zucchini over zinnias. The markers are extra long and wide to accommodate large handwriting, making the labels easily legible and visible in your garden. Made of natural birch wood, shards and debris shed from the labels will naturally compost over time, as opposed to unsightly and invasive non-biodegradable plastic markers.
Write directly on labels with pen or permanent marker and place near plantings.
In 1981, John Buckland began creating gardening and home goods out of a shed in his family home using a wood lathe and hand tools. The demand for products increased, and John eventually moved the business to an old corn and wood mill. Most of their products are now turned by machine in order to achieve uniformity, while finishing details continue to be done by hand for quality control. The business is run by John, his wife and their five sons.
