A thriving plant begins with good soil, and this pot tamper will help you get there. Use the tamper to gently push down and press loose and uneven soil. The broad surface will help to compress, firm and level the plant soil and create an optimal environment for sowing your seeds.
Wipe clean after use. Do not soak in water. Condition by rubbing linseed oil into wood with a soft cloth.
In 1981, John Buckland began creating gardening and home goods out of a shed in his family home using a wood lathe and hand tools. The demand for products increased and John eventually moved the business to an old corn and wood mill. Most of their products are now turned by machine in order to achieve uniformity, while finishing details continue to be done by hand for quality control. The business is run by John, his wife and their five sons.
