This set of cheese and bread knives is made in Maniago, Italy, which is known for being a center of steel blade production since the 15th-century. The stainless steel blades are met with a handle hewn from olive wood. The knives come in a recycled cardboard storage box to protect the stainless steel blades from dulling. The cheese knife has an offset handle for better leverage when cutting through medium to hard cheeses, such as Gruyère or cheddar. The bread knife is serrated so that both soft and crusty breads can be sliced but not crushed.
Hand wash in warm water and dry thoroughly immediately after cleaning. To preserve the stainless steel blades, store the knives in their cardboard box.

The company that produced and designed this olive wood knife set was founded in 1912 and specialized in farming tools. In 1952, after four generations of tool making, the family business decided to concentrate solely on knives for the home kitchen and professional butchery. Since then, it continues to innovate and improve its products.
