This hexagonal pry bar is hot forged from American steel by a family-run company that has been designing and manufacturing tools for more than 120 years. Use the pry bar to remove nails or to force wood slats apart. The gooseneck end is finished with a chisel and a nail puller slot. The opposite end features an offset chisel for prying open or separating boards.
Our pry bar is designed for light construction and demolition use. Always use the proper tool for the job. Prior to use, inspect the bar for chips in the chisels, cracks or deformation. Never use a bar that has been damaged. Do not strike this bar with a hammer or any other object. Do not use as a striking tool. To prevent rust and damage, store the pry bar in a cool, dry environment, where it will not be exposed to outside weather conditions.
The company behind this hexagonal pry bar has been making tools since 1886, and the family-run business is now in its fourth generation. The tools are made by drop forging, which means that hot steel is pounded by a falling hammer into a die, or pattern. The bar ends, points and claws of the pry bar are hammer press forged, and the tapered handle sections are roll forged using compression force.
