Details: Hudson Valley tannery Pergamena (established 1830) provides organic vegetable tanned American goatskin. Vegetable tanned leather patinas overtime expressing the wear and enhancing the richness of the color and texture. The skins are natural and raw which showcase the true grain of the material. Exotic skins metallic stingray, the caviar of leathers, sourced from food-farmed Thai stingray possesses a rare combination of beauty and durability in its indestructible pearlized texture. This material is incredibly durable and tactile. Each bag has its own unique appearance and therefore no two bags are alike. The more light exposure and use the bag will get the deeper the color will become and in some cases even fade with extreme sun exposure.
Care: Sofia Fima does not add plastics to leathers, so the bags are not waterproof and therefore you should be cautious in the rain as spots will remain on the bags. A local leather shop should be able to assist you in taking care of your bag to guarantee its longevity overtime.
