THE STORY
Heather Goldberg named her line of handcrafted organic necklaces, Shadowplay, after the Joy Division song. The former intern for the New York design collective ThreeAsFour takes her inspirations from nature: oceanic aragonite structures, planetary space, crystal formations and spider webs all figure in the Los Angeles-based designer’s work. Made from naturally dyed yarns, crystallized Swarovski elements and certified Fair Trade black silver closures, Shadow Play plays with the concept of making the abstract and invisible, visible.
