Nora Kogan’s glamorous past is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for her delicate but gutsy jewelry: Born in Odessa and raised in a neighborhood of Eastern Europeans emigrés in Melbourne, Australia, she’s lived in Europe, Israel and Japan and now calls Brooklyn home. She founded Nora Kogan Jewelry in 2004. Her jewelry is made locally, almost entirely of recycled metals and with conflict-free stones when possible. Every piece is finished with great detail in Kogan's Park Slope studio.
