Primitive Twig was established in 1989 by Bill and Marcia Finks. Sculptures evolved from their love of graphics, metal and color. Their dolls grew from their love of vintage tin toys. Their designs are dictated by the interesting shapes and lithography of old toys. Their work has been featured in the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Newsweek, House & Garden, ELLE Decor, Vogue Living, Country Living, Martha Stewart Living and Redbook Their art has also graced the holiday windows at Bergdorf Goodman, where they have been a mainstay since 2009.
