A few years ago, Stone discovered edible flowers. She began experimenting with salt and sugar blends that preserved them along with freshly picked herbs and dried fruits. Unhampered by culinary training, she creates her blends based on instinct, mixing sugar with the bite of pepper and salt with the tempering sweetness of fruit. Before long, family and friends were asking Stone what she was using in her dishes that made them taste so good and Farm Candy was born.
