About Kiyoshi Mino

After serving three tours in Afghanistan, Kiyoshi Mino returned to Afghanistan for another year to do aid work and had the privilege of experiencing life in remote Pashtun villages, almost untouched. He came to the realization that life doesn’t need to be as complicated as society makes it out to be and was inspired to live a much more simple life. He started a small organic farm together with his wife and began pursuing his love of art and nature. Today, his sculptures bring animals evoke a respect for nature and biological diversity.
