Angulr is a collaboration between Julian Mancuso and Lauren Binning, who met while working together in NYC. In 2014, they moved into a larger space. The small pieces that had once filled their tiny walls, now left them staring at blank white spaces. They began to dream up ways to fill the empty walls. The Angulr process starts by sketching out a basic design and deciding on a color palette. Julian models a 3D shape, tweaking the dimension and colors. He passes the shape to Lauren to form the composition and final design. Lauren begins with a concept for the print but lets the 3D shape inform the composition. She chooses colors and crops the 3D shape until it becomes the final piece.
