Best known for his palate-teasing spice blends that used by some of the world’s top chefs, Lior Lev Sercarz is also a master baker and art lover. In a coup for anyone with a liking for sweets, his Boîte à Biscuits, which he produces seasonally in collaboration with a different artist each time, combine his three passions in one delicious package: mouthwatering biscuits, some with savory notes, with flavors drawn from around the world. For his latest project, Sercarz teamed up with photographer Thomas Schauer, who contributed six evocative images — one on the cover, the others inside — of the herbs used to bake these delightful treats.
