Young cult jewelry designer Nettie Kent grew up in Martha's Vineyard, learned mural painting in Mexico and studied frescoes in Italy. It is only natural then, that Kent's pieces show a love for the sea as much as it does for exotic antiquities.

Nettie cut her teeth apprenticing with Phillip Crangi and Pamela Love for two years before officially launching her namesake line in 2010. Since then, the company has been profiled by Interview Magazine and name-checked by fans like model Agyness Deyn and indie singer Caroline Polachek. And with a nod to the environment, every piece of Nettie Kent jewelry is handmade at the designer's studio in Greenpoint, using only recycled metals and sustainable practices.
