Nora Kogan was born in Odessa; grew up in Melbourne, Australia; and decided to become a jewelry designer while living in the Israeli town of Tsfat, the birthplace of Kabbalah. She now lives in Brooklyn, New York, where all of her jewelry, both fine and costume, is designed and made. “I can't imagine anything more gratifying than making something and finding an audience for it,” she says.
