After 15 years in Paris, Liza Pappas was ready to come home to New York City. But she couldn’t get the idea of the Parisian innovation of living walls—i.e. entire walls of lush green plants—out of her mind. They’re the inspiration behind Luludi (which means "flower" in Greek), her beautifully innovative, totally cool living plant frames, which come complete with gorgeous greenery. "Adding a bit of low maintenance nature to one’s space brings a peaceful Zen feeling," she says. "Creating a proper living wall is extremely expensive and very difficult to maintain, while a living frame brings the concept indoors on a small scale."
