We can't all spend our days languishing about on the Italian coast, but we can experience a whiff of that luxury with GIVEscent. After years of living in Northern Italy, Elena Brower decided to bring the scents of the beloved country to other women. In collaboration with Alexandra Lyon Perelman, she created a sweet-smelling perfume using native almond oil, sun-ripened grapefruit, spicy vanilla and a tease of leather. Call it the aromatic equivalent of Sophia Loren. It's also pure of heart: a portion of the proceeds from each bottle will be donated to Women For Women International, an aid society that supports female survivors of war and conflict. Since its founding in 1993, Women for Women has helped an estimated 372,000 women through a combination of direct aid, rights education, job skills training and small business development. Ultimately, you're contributing to a good cause, your skin, and frankly, everyone within smelling distance. Bravo!
