If Andy Warhol were a food, he’d be a Popsicle: Bright, accessible and fun. Since our favorite frozen treat is basically Pop Art on a stick, we can’t help but feel it’s a comparison the wigged one would be down with.
We prefer to make popsicles in our home factory, from healthy juices and fruits. But waiting for them to freeze doesn’t really mesh with our need-it-now urges for them. Enter the award-winning Zoku Pop Maker, a cool (literally) little gadget that lets you make tasty ice pops in a mere seven minutes, right on your counter top with no electricity needed.
You just pre-freeze the Pop Maker for 24 hours before using it, insert the sticks, pour in juice, yogurt, chocolate milk, alcohol (we love the idea of a grapefruit and vodka ice pop on a warm evening) or whatever else you want to use, and, ta-da!, frozen deliciousness.
We’re also offering Zoku accessories: extra sticks, tools and a storage case. Go ahead and create stripey effects, add slices of fruit or crumbled-up cookies, make outer coatings with contrasting centers — the candy-colored sky is the limit.
Think of your kitchen counter as a Pop-art gallery and the Zoku as your canvas. And if you need inspiration, just ask yourself: What would Andy do?
